Menu


The menus below are just same examples. It is possible to choose a menu according to your personal tastes and requirements. We can then make your personalized menu. It isn’t necessary that your guests all have the same menu. It can be varied for groups of five, ten or fifteen, however this must be decided upon in advance. For all menus on arrival there will be a Welcome Aperitif, then you can choose from the following examples of starters,first courses, second courses, sideplates and the typical cakes of Sorrento.



Venere Menu

Welcome Aperitif:

1 flutes of prosecco with nuts, crisps, olives and dry canapes.

 

Starters                        Please choose up to 3 of the following starters:

  1. Parma ham and rockmelon/cantaloupe
  2. Capri Salad (tomato and mozzarella cheese),
  3. Grilled eggplant rolls with rocket salad.

 

First Courses            Please choose up to 3 of the following first courses:

  1. “Gnocchi alla sorrentina” (potato dumplings with mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce)
  2. “Ravioli Caprese” (fresh pasta, mozzarella cheese and “ricotta” cheese)
  3. Pancakes with vegetable filling (mozzarella cheese, vegetable and “ricotta” cheese)
  4. Spaghetti / Pennette with “Bolognese” sauce

 

Second Course          Please choose up to 3 of the following second courses:

  1. Barbecued-grilled chicken breast
  2. Grilled pork sausage – B.B.Q.
  3. “Braciola” (rolls veal stuffed with pork sausage, pine nuts, garlic, parsley and sultanas)
  4. Meat balls in tomatoes sauce
  5. “Pizzaiola” (beef with tomatoes, oregon, garlic)
  6. Eggplant parmigiana

Mercurio Menu

Welcome Aperitif:

Starters                       Please choose up to 3 of the following starters:

  1. Castore starter (fresh cheese, mini mozzarella, mixed vegetable grill, olives, Parma ham, toasted bread with tomatoes and mozzarella)
  2. Capri Salad (tomatoes and mozzarella cheese)
  3. Mercurio starter (smoked mozzarella with olives red peppers, with rocket and grated Parmesan cheese)

 

First Courses            Please choose up to 3 of the following first courses:

  1. Pasta with meat balls in tomato sauce “ragù”
  2. “Lasagna Napolitan”style
  3. “Risotto ai funghi” (rice and mushrooms)

Afrodite Menu

  4. Shrimp cocktail

  2. Risotto with “zucchine” and shrimps

Poseidone Menu

Welcome Aperitif:

1 flutes of prosecco with nuts, crisps, olives and dry canapes.

Canapés & Finger Food on arrival:

Additional to the usual welcome aperitif you will also be served traditional fried Neapolitan bites.

Shrimps rolled in lemon leaves.

 

First Course                   Please choose 3 of the following first courses

  2. Paccheri (flat tubes of pasta) with shrimps, cherry tomatoes and rocket
  3. Risotto with porcini mushrooms and smoked cheese
  4. Cannelloni Sorrentina Style
  5. Amalfi crepes filled with cheese and ham

 

Second Course            Please choose 3 of the following second courses

  1. Fillet of Sea Bass “Aqua Pazza” Style (Poached Cherry Tomatoes, garlic and olive oil) served with grilled vegetables
  2. Fillet of Beef served with a green peppercorn sauce served with baked rosemary potatoes
  3. Medallions of pork cooked with white wine and mushrooms served with baked rosemary potatoes
  4. Oven baked roulade of chicken filled with herbs and served with buttered spinach and rosemary baked potatoes
  5. Swordfish ‘marinara style’ (with olive oil, mint and garlic) served with a rocket and cherry tomato salad dressed in balsamic vinegar

1 flutes of Prosecco (Peach and strawberry juice to be available if people prefer a Bellini or Rossini)

Sirena Menu
